PREP CLASSES

FALL 2026

Our audition prep classes are the best way to get your child prepared for audition season at Bak Middle School of the Arts and Dreyfoos School of the Arts. At Black Dog we make the entire PBCSD Choice Process as seamless as possible for both our students and their parents. Classes are taught by Mark Fetterly, an exceptional audition coach with decades of experience and an outstanding track record. Space is limited, so register early to ensure your student's seat.

NOTE: All workshops will be held at Khanna House Studios located at 3361 Fairlane Farms Rd, Suite 4, Wellington, FL 33414.

BAK MSOA COMMUNICATION ARTS 5pm-6pm

SPEECH PREP • FILM CRITIQUE • CREATIVE WRITING

Communication Arts students will work with Mr. Mark to learn film critique, prepare and memorize a speech, and work on their creative writing skills.

BAK MSOA THEATER 6pm-7pm

OPEN SCENE PRACTICE • MUSICAL THEATER PREP • MONOLOGUES

Theater students will learn how to prepare an audition scene with a partner, how to handle cold readings and redirects, and explore the option of auditioning with a musical theater song.

DREYFOOS TECH THEATER & ACTING 7pm-8pm

MONOLOGUES • IMPROV • TECH PRESENTATIONS • INTERVIEWS

This class is for students interested in auditioning for Tech Theater and/or Acting at Dreyfoos. Tech students will work one-on-one with Ms. Kat creating their portfolio piece, while Acting students will work with Mr. Mark on choosing and perfecting their audition monologue.
